TERMS AND CONDITIONS –

1.0 GENERAL

1.1 These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change at any time with or without notification by Rolling Meadows. By purchasing a ticket to or accepting work at Rolling Meadows you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.  

1.2 These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with our chosen Ticketing Partners terms and conditions. In the event of our Ticketing Partners terms and conditions contradicting the below terms and conditions, Rolling Meadows terms and conditions will take precedence.

2.0 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 

2.1 Rolling Meadows enforces these terms and conditions in all areas of the festival including the festival car park, campground and any area on The Boneline Winery’s property. By purchasing a ticket to Rolling Meadows you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.

2.2 By not adhering to these terms and conditions you risk being denied entry, eviction from the festival, being issued a trespass notice, a ban from future Rolling Meadows and SUB180 events, and if necessary an escalation to police. 

2.3 Rolling Meadows is a strictly R18 event and requires a valid current ID to enter. Accepted identification for entry are as follows:  

Current New Zealand Drivers Licence

Current Passport (any nationality) 

Current HAINZ 18+ ID Card

Current Kiwi Access Card 

A photo or photocopy will not be accepted as ID, you must present a physical current ID to enter Rolling Meadows. Your ID must match the name on your ticket to enter Rolling Meadows. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure they have the correct identification. Failure to present the correct identification will result in refusal of entry without a refund of ticket or associated costs. 

If changes are made to New Zealand’s liquor licensing laws or regulations, these conditions of entry will subsequently be updated to adhere to any new laws or regulations. 

2.4  To enter Rolling Meadows you must have:

Valid Rolling Meadows ticket where the name matches your ID 

Valid attendee wristband or accreditation for the year that you are attending which is issued at the entry gate

Accreditation including entry wristbands  are issued for the entire event. Any attempts to tamper with your accreditation may result in denial of entry or immediate ejection. Damaged wristbands with a valid reason will be replaced and the cost to replace the wristband of $10 will be passed onto the customer. 

Attempting to enter Rolling Meadows without a valid ticket or wristband will result in a trespass order that will be in effect for 2 years. Those issued with a trespass notice may also be permanently banned for all future Rolling Meadows and SUB180 events., if necessary this will be escalated to the police . 

2.5 Intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to the festival. Persons denied entry due to being intoxicated risk being denied entry to Rolling Meadows for any day that their pass is valid for.  

2.6 Below is a list of prohibited items and behaviour. Not adhering to these could result in denial of entry, eviction, trespass or escalations with police: 

Prohibited Items:

  • Drinks and drink sachets including any alcohol and non alcoholic drinks are not permitted. 
  • Commercially packaged unopened food and fruit is permitted. Any homemade or unsealed food is prohibited. Food that requires cooking of any kind and any cooking equipment such as BBQ's or flames of any kind are prohibited. 
  • Illicit drugs and open over the counter medication is prohibited. Unopened over the counter medication is permitted, and prescribed medication either open or unopened is ok to bring in when accompanied with a valid current prescription.
  • Weapons or items that can be used as weapons such as knives, hammers, and fireworks are prohibited. 
  • Glass is not permitted. The exceptions to this are perfumes and cosmetics under 100ml and small mirrors. 
  • Drones and professional cameras are not permitted.
  • Gang patches or gang affiliated clothing is not permitted.
  • Animals are not permitted anywhere within the festival. 

Any prohibited items that are confiscated will not be returned. Prohibited items list applies to the Rolling Meadows bus services and other modes of transportation provided by the festival.

Items may be added to this list at any time without notice. Any items not listed here can be confiscated if Rolling Meadows deems them potentially harmful to people, property or environment.

Prohibited Behaviour:

The below behaviour can result in denial of entry, eviction, trespass or escalation to police.

  • Anti-social or threatening behaviour to other festival attendees or staff will not be tolerated.
  • Misrepresentation as a member of staff or security.
  • Attempting to enter restricted areas.
  • Attempting to enter areas of the property not associated with Rolling Meadows.
  • Intent to light a fire.
  • Intent to use or use of illicit drugs or illegal substances.
  • Denying authorised personnel to search vehicles, clothes, bags, containers or other possessions for items in violation of these conditions of entry. Authorised personnel includes any member of NZ Police.
  • Attempting to gain entry to Rolling Meadows bus services without a valid ticket or wristband. 
  • Damaging the property of other attendees, Rolling Meadows, properties in the immediate area, or any other contractor present at the festival. 

2.7 Rolling Meadows bus service is  subject to delays impacted by the traffic and other delays caused by the public. Rolling Meadows takes no responsibility for attendees failing to make the events by missing buses, or being evicted from buses or denied their use due to damage, intoxication or other antisocial behaviour.

3.0 CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE

3.1 It is the responsibility of the ticket holder or staff member to come prepared with clothing and equipment for all weather conditions. Entry to Rolling Meadows is at the attendee’s own risk and attendees assume that there may be risks inherent in admission to the venue. Any damage caused to attendees equipment or person is at the sole risk of the attendee, Rolling Meadows will not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property as a result of the festival.

3.1 Direction given by Rolling Meadows staff must be followed at all times.. Refusing to follow direction could result in denial of entry, eviction, trespass or escalation to police.

3.2 By attending Rolling Meadows you are granting permission to be filmed, photographed or used in any promotional material by Rolling Meadows, SUB180 and other partner events.

3.3 Harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, discriminatory actions  or any type of antisocial behaviour is not tolerated.  If at any point you feel that you or others’ health or safety is threatened, you should contact the nearest Rolling Meadows staff member, security guard or Police Officer for assistance. 

3.4 Camping in any vehicles on site, including in the carpark, is prohibited and could result in eviction.. 


4.0 TICKET REFUNDS

4.0 Rolling Meadows does not issue refunds under any circumstances excluding cancellation. In the event of cancellation ticket refunds will be available upon request from the chosen ticketing provider. If available, ticket transfers will also be offered.  Rolling Meadows is an outdoor event, efforts will be made to adjust to adverse weather however if emergency services can operate effectively the festival will not be cancelled. It is the responsibility of the attendee to come prepared for all weather conditions and to acknowledge that queuing at the festival may be of a long length of time during peak gate opening hours without shelter. 

4.1 In the event of a specific artist, activation, or stage unable to make Rolling Meadows no refunds will be offered. Tickets for Rolling Meadows are for the event, Rolling Meadows reserves the right to make changes to the lineup and program where necessary. Performers and artists set times and length may change at any time without notice.

4.2 Artists performing at Rolling Meadows are acting as independent contractors and Rolling Meadows does not take responsibility for their actions or performance.

4.3 If Rolling Meadows needs to postpone, tickets will remain valid for the new date. No refunds will be given if attendees cannot make the postponement date, resales through our chosen partner will be open to allow attendees to on-sell their passes..  

5.0 TICKET RESALES 

5.1 The name on your ticket must match your ID. Entry will be denied if your ticket does not match the name on your ID.  Rolling Meadows will advise on how to resell your ticket, there will be a specified time and date window and platform that allows tickets to be resold directly to a chosen person. If you sell your ticket via another platform or privately your ticket will not be valid. 

5.2 Registering your ticket for resale will allow your ticket to be offered to people registered on the waitlist. Your ticket will be offered once the ticket tier that you purchased is sold out.  This does not guarantee that your ticket will sell. 

5.3 Reselling your ticket via our chosen platform will incur a resale fee. 

5.4 Tickets won as prizes, or gifted (comp tickets) cannot be transferred to any other person.  If the named holder cannot attend the event the ticket becomes void.

5.5 Any ticket resold after the 28th of December at 10am will be void. 

5.6 In the event of a refund,  the service fee component or other administrative charges in purchasing / delivering the ticket will not be refunded.

6.0 CONTRACTORS AND VENDORS 

6.1 Rolling Meadows is not responsible for the actions of contractors including artists and third party vendors. Rolling Meadows will endeavour to find resolutions to all disagreements between contractors, third parties and festival guests. 

6.2 Rolling Meadows is cashless and exclusively uses RFID as a payment method for all vendors and bars at the venue. By attending Rolling Meadows you are agreeing to the relevant terms and conditions of our chosen RFID provider.

7.0 OTHER TERMS AND RISKS 

7.1 You are permitting Rolling Meadows to collect the personal information provided in your ticket purchase.

7.2 By purchasing a Rolling Meadows ticket you are permitting Rolling Meadows and its associated brands through SUB180 to contact you in the  future for marketing and other events. 

7. 3 ‍ By purchasing a ticket to Rolling Meadows you acknowledge the risks of voluntarily attending Rolling Meadows including but not limited to illness, injury or death and accept the responsibility and dangers associated with your attendance even if the risks are associated with Rolling Meadows negligence.
